Do I need to complete any training to be a Thermomix Consultant?
Training helps to set you up for success as a Thermomix Consultant. Basic training happens before you start to operate your business and we offer a range of ongoing training options to support your Thermomix journey.
New Consultants start their journey with our 60-day Program designed to kick-strat your learning, integrate you into the community and introduce you to the support systems.

When can I start selling Thermomix?
You can start selling as soon as you've completed the basic training program!
Some of us need a little time to get settled, but some have had a Thermomix in the kitchen for years and are raring to go. It doesn't take long to connect with others like you, who are starting their business and learn the basics so you can get going as soon as possible.
What is the Contractor Application Form?
The Thermomix Contractor Application Form (or CAF) is the legally binding document that establishes you as a Thermomix Consultant.
There are certain terms and conditions, as well as the Direct Selling Australia Code of Conduct, that you need to understand and agree to before signing your Consultant Application Form.
Thermomix is currently modernising this process, but in the mean-time you’ll need to obtain the documents in person from your local Team Leader.
What is a Business Information Session?
Thermomix Business Information Sessions (or BIS) provide you with a more detailed understanding of Thermomix in Australia as a company, consultancy as a profession, the processes and training you'll undergo to become a Thermomix Consultant and the fabulous rewards that are available for you to earn as you develop your business
Business Information Sessions are the perfect opportunity for you to gain a greater understanding of the Thermomix business and consulting, and meet other people who are considering joining the Thermomix family, just like you!
What are Team Leaders?
Thermomix prides itself as a company that provides opportunity for people who want to develop their skills and grow into leadership. Our Team Leaders are fabulous people who run their business as a Consultant as well as support other Consultants in their journey. They provide you with training and coaching as you require, and keep you updated with information that is important for you to run your business.
How do I earn my Thermomix?
Everyone deserves a Thermomix in their kitchen! Earning a Thermomix is as simple as inspiring 6 people to buy a Thermomix and you'll have earned enough commission to pay for yours. You'll need to read and accept the terms and conditions for this offer.
What is the 60-day Program?
The 60-day Program supports you in building your business from day one.
Comprised of online learning modules that you can complete in the comfort of your own home, practical cooking demonstration experiences, business building activities and hands-on practise sessions with your Team Leader, the first 60 days of your Thermomix journey will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed.
The training provided prior to and during the 60-day Program ensures that you are equipped with necessary knowledge in Thermomix technology, industry compliance, business processes and Thermomix policies. You'll also be educated on the code of practice, as set out by Direct Selling Australia and Direct Selling New Zealand.
In addition to the online learning modules, you'll undertake extensive practical training with your Team Leader.
How do I book Cooking Experiences?
Your training will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed. Your Team Leader and local group of Consultants will be there to support you and show you the ropes as you start your Thermomix journey.
What costs are involved in becoming a Consultant?
There are minimal up-front costs associated with becoming a Consultant, for example you will need a Business Kit. The best way to find out about these is to meet with your local Team Leader who can talk you through the process.
What is ThermoFest?
ThermoFest is a celebration of our top performing Consultants – a travel incentive that Thermomix offers to all its Consultants. In previous years we've taken our top performers to Hawaii and Italy to thank them for their hard work and inspire the development of their businesses.ThermoFest 2019 is in Vietnam!
The opportunity to travel to ThermoFest is completely within your reach. You don’t need to be dedicating the hours of a full-time job to your Thermomix Business to be one of our top performing Consultants. Thermomix Consultants come from all walks of life; some already have another career, work multiple part-time jobs, or are raising children. The passion, knowledge and enthusiasm that you impart to others is your key to success.

You don't need to have experience in sales to start your Thermomix Journey, all you need is a passion for sharing your Thermomix story with others. Our training and the support of your Team Leader will help you do the rest.
Direct Selling Australia (DSA) or New Zealand (DSANZ) is the industry association for direct selling in Australian retail, and they are celebrating 50 years of empowering entrepreneurship this year. Joining Thermomix as a Consultant means you have the opportunity to use the resources and networks attached to DSA and DSANZ.

That's ok. At Thermomix we love to cook every day and provide many opportunities for you to connect to cooking classes, workshops and meetings to support you in developing your cooking skills with Thermomix.
